Hazel is a surviving botanist during a green apocalypse as the plants of the world slowly stopped producing oxygen. She is prepared for the dangers of this new world and is in her element, as she faces the dangers of the outside world when testing her attempts at a vaccine. Her current situation is reflected in her design through her gas mask and gas tanks, and having most of her body covered to be protected from the poisons in the world.

Dynamic poses for steampunk, apocalyptic scientist
This is one of the early concepts for my character of Duusa, my version of Medusa for my DUUSA game. In the earlier designs for the game, a big idea I had for the combat design was Duusa's snake hair growing or shrinking when she devours men or uses her petrification powers. This is still an idea I'd love to revisit as it was mainly scrapped due to scope.
We are working on a reworked version of Duusa with her hair hidden as this original design has aspects that felt too modern for Ancient Greece.

Characters for a steampunk themed puzzle and exploration game, based on the novel 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, called Nautilus. Since this is essentially a strategy based game, each character has their own unique ability to aid their adventures. These characters borrow aspects of the original crew on the Nautilus ship to fit necessary character tropes (left to right: engineer, scientist, biologist, harpooner) but are rebranded for a more young and modern audience.
